I hate how you said that the most important thing is for you to do what makes you happy. and this totally applies to everyone else except me. I’ve thought about so many different career choices, but honestly, I feel like you keep saying they’re the “wrong ones” because they’re the ones I actually want to do and you don’t want me to do. I don’t think you understand but this is 100% why I’m still undecided. because the fact that everything I want to do is not what you want me to do. everything you want me to do is the opposite of what I want to do. I don’t care if I’m not rich or not well-off or not the most successful person in the world as long as I’m happy doing what I am. too bad you don’t understand that. all I want is to be a teacher, own a bakery, or maybe even a food chemistry engineer. but none of that is good enough for you and I’m fucking sorry.
